If you live in Cypress or JV AND don't know this spot, I feel sorry for you! Place has been here for at least 20+ years. It use to be a lot smaller but it expanded over the years. Anyhow, the menu has also expanded. I went to this place at 1:30 AM and they were fully stocked w everything. (Some places sometimes are out of certain meat or our of Agua fresca) This place also has a nice variety in meats. Everything always seems to be fresh and well cooked. I can't remember a time they messed up my order or that the food was bad. A Cypress legend, Taqueria Ruby! Gracias por tú bien servicio todos estos años.

This is the BEST place in Houston for real mufuggin everything Mexican food. The people that work there and started this place are one of a kind. I have gone there for years and I'll always prefer this amazing place to go. So generous, so giving....visit here and I promise you won't be disappointed.

I don’t understand how anyone gives this place less than 5 stars. They’re the greatest tacos I’ve ever had and they’re only $2 each. Also the best horchata in all of Texas. Lovely service, fresh ingredients, unbeatable price, and 24 hours! Come for the food, stay for the exotic bird zoo in the yard.

I conquer with other reviews. The service is horrendous. The location is filthy. I began ordering tacos and was told they didn’t have any. I asked for horchata, again they didn’t have any. I asked if they had rice and beans, surprise surprise they did not. I’d highly recommend not going here. We moved on.

I've bought firewood from here for years but never again. When they said $10 for 10 pieces which has been that price, I did not expect what I got. The so-called pieces are small or just the bark. Ridiculous, I won't be back.

Went there tonight and a new lady tried to charge me $23 for 3 tacos. When I asked her why she got tongue tied. I told her I ordered the same thing last week and paid under $10. She just shrugged her shoulders. The new lady is a scammer. She'd rather no money than some money. GREEDY! I brought friends too. We'll never go back though!

Favorite place to get street tacos. Really good food and service. They are open 24 hrs a day. So those late night munchies can be satisfied. They have horchata as well and might I say... its amazing! They give you the option to call and place an order so you dont have to wait. They are pretty good about getting everything out as quick as possible. The truck is off 290 and huffmeister and the actual restraunt is off Huffmeister and fleur de lis next to Olympics bar. Worth the time and the money. Kid friendly. Fast food and good food. Cant go wrong!
